St. Nicholas School Ballina

Bradán Classroom

Welcome to Bradán classroom!

Welcome to the lower senior room. We are an energetic group who enjoy learning about the world around us in a multi-sensory approach. We are active members of our community and enjoy walks, shopping trips, visits to Nadia gym and social outings in our town.

We work hard at our individual goals and enjoy sessions of group work – Art, Music and PE. We incorporate movement breaks with our learning and take time to choose activities that interest us and help us relax.

We look forward to sharing updates on our class and school activities here in St Nicholas’ School.

Easter

We created art work for Easter using bunny silhouettes and tulip fields for Spring using qtip printing.
We also are exploring planting and our sunflowers, bean plants and strawberries are sprouting nicely.
We also are talking about nutrition and food groups and explored fruit painting with apples and pears

ST BRDGID

we used fabric and fibre to create a patchwork collage to celebrate St Bridgid

Be the reason someone smiles-

Using free painting of rollers and brushes we created multicoloured backdrop and then using syringes of paint and cotton pads in heart shapes we explored squirting colours on cotton pads and seeing mixing of colours, which were then glued onto our backgrounds.
